Nothing beats having a pashmina in your carry on. Just pull it out, wrap it, cover your head, whatever to stay warm and dry until you get where you are going. Nice weight and quality, I used this everyday in Paris weather.
I didn’t think I needed a scarf for the vacation I was going on, but I really did. The scarf provided me with the warmth that I needed. It was the perfect length for wrapping around my neck multiple times to really keep the cold out.
