General Product Safety Regulation
The General Product Safety Regulation (GSPR) is a critical framework established by the European Union to ensure that products placed on the market are safe for consumers. This regulation mandates that manufacturers and distributors take all necessary measures to prevent risks associated with their products.
Under the GSPR, several key rules must be followed:
- Product Safety: All products must be safe for use and should not pose any risk to consumers. This includes ensuring that products are designed and manufactured to meet safety requirements.
- Labelling and Instructions: Clear and accurate labelling is essential. Products must include safety information, usage instructions, and any necessary warnings to inform consumers about potential risks. To ensure our customers have the correct safety information, we will be adding QR codes to the relevant pages of our website as well as to our package labelling.
- Traceability: Manufacturers must ensure that their products can be traced throughout the supply chain. This includes maintaining records of product origin and distribution.
